Not your Normal Knife. Holes drilled in to reduce weight and provide better grip. A large round finger hole in the rear of the knife can also be used as a lanyard hole if you choose not to clip the knife to your pocket with the pocket clip. Belt buckle style lock secures the knife in both open and closed postions.
History: Open. Spin. Slash. Close. The Butterfly Knife or "Balisong" originated in the Philippines and US troops island hopping in WWII saw locals carrying these knives which they nicknamed Butterfly Knives. Soon after that they brought them home and a craze was in full effect. Everyone was carrying these Butterfly Knives, and to this day the tradition carries on as the Balisong is still one of the top selling knives in the world.
